We are starting to gather ideas and inspiration for what we really want our house to look and feel like. We are still busy with the floor in the living room, but in the mean time the first room that we will end up putting together is our bedroom. We need a place to sleep - right?
These are some images that I hope to inspire the kind of bed room we would like to have - something inviting, comfortable, and colorful. We have never spent any time really making our bedroom look good, so we want to start making it feel like a space that isn't just for sleeping. I will probably end up putting my green chair/woo station in the room as well, so a nice comfortable area for reading will be dreamy.
I definitely would like to put in shelves like these since we have a little wall jut out where the closet comes out.
In Part 1, we covered the front of the house, kitchen, living room, hall, master bedroom, and master bath. We still have quite a journey to take for the Crooked House -
We are diving straight into the scary parts - The bathroom and hidden stairs to the 2nd floor. I'm just going to show these as a series of photos. This is the Crooked House, and you will soon find out why it has this name!
Now you are thinking - "It's so charming, it just needs a little pick me up! Why isn't this the Main House?"

One chimney is hooked up to the most monstrous wood stove you have ever seen for this size of a house, and the other isn't even really attached to the house? There is no access to it.
Now, when you walk in the front door, you see down the crooked hallway. When you turn to the left, you see the kitchen. Obviously keeping the wallpaper and 80's cabinetry. We have a lot of facelift plans for this to make it rentable. We are switching the black stove for the one in the Main House. You will also notice the drop ceiling making an appearance -...
